World AIDS Day is held every year on 1st December and is dedicated to remembering the millions lost. You are invited to attend the following events on World AIDS Day 2022 :

Community Launch of World AIDS Day ‘WOMEN AND HIV’
Venue: Innovation and Education Hub, Burnet Institute on the Alfred Hospital precinct
Morning Session 9 am – 12 pm: World AIDS Day Community Launch including Official Launch and Community Forum (Women in HIV research) – hosted by Living Positive Victoria
Performance Poem Screening: The performance poem created by PWV members and Fleassy Malay, musical artist will be screened.
Afternoon Session 1 pm – 6 pm: mHIVE World AIDS Day Symposium (hosted by Burnet Institute in conjunction with mHIVE) – Women and HIV

World AIDS Day Memorial 2022
Venue: Positive Living Centre, 51 Commercial Road, South Yarra
Time: 5:00pm for 6:00pm start
This year, everyone is welcomed back to the Positive Living Centre for an evening of Remembrance, Celebration and Hope.
Featuring: Marina Larrson, Luke Gallagher, The Huxleys, and The Remembrance Ceremony with Marg Hayes. Performances by Jon Jackson, Rachel Trevorrow Dunham, Melbourne Gay & Lesbian Chorus.
Hosted by Thorne Harbour Health, Living Positive Victoria, Positive Women Victoria, Melbourne AIDS Quilt
