Description:
You are warmly invited to participate in a supportive and engaging focus group for women aged 40 and over living with HIV. This session is part of an important research initiative aimed at developing a model of care for ageing women with HIV, with a particular focus on menopause and its impact on health and wellbeing.

The researcher, Anna Pierce, an HIV clinician at The Alfred, is seeking your insights, experiences, and perspectives to help develop a questionnaire for an online survey (anonymous). During the session, participants will:

  • Share their views on ageing with HIV, including experiences around menopause
  • Contribute ideas in co-designing survey questions that reflect women’s real needs and priorities for the qualitative research.

Your voice is essential in ensuring that future research and care models are meaningful, relevant, and grounded in lived experience.

Following the focus group, participants are invited to enjoy a relaxed lunch together at a nearby restaurant featuring multicultural cuisine—an opportunity to connect, unwind, and continue conversations in a social setting.
