Women & HIV education session with Dr Nneka Nwokolo – 8 September 2022

Thursday, 8 September – 10:30am to 12:00pm  in Melbourne at Thorne Harbour Health, 200 Hoddle Street, Abottsford 

Join Dr Nneka Nwokolo, a London-based consultant physician in Sexual Health and HIV Medicine, for a special education session on health issues faced by women living with HIV. Topics covered include: latest ART (antiretroviral) trials, U=U and breastfeeding, menopause and HRT and the latest data on aging as it relates to women living with HIV.

Positive Women Victoria, with support from Thorne Harbour Health, are excited and honoured to host Dr Nneka Nwokolo in Melbourne for her education session, where she will share latest findings on women and HIV. There will also be plenty of time to ask questions. Morning tea will be provided. Dr Nneka Nwokolo will visit Melbourne after presenting at the ASHM HIV conference in Brisbane.

Dr Nneka Nwokolo is Head of Global Patient Affairs at ViiV Healthcare and an honorary Consultant Physician in Sexual Health and HIV Medicine at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London where she continues to see patients in a combined general and menopause clinic.
