Women and HIV Today – Seeking Speakers

11/06/2026

PWV leads a new HIV healthcare education project

Are you a woman living with HIV who would like to help shape the future of healthcare education?

Women and HIV Today is a new national audio-visual education tool for students of healthcare professions in development by Positive Women Victoria and funded by a ViiV Healthcare Positive Action Community Grant awarded to NAPWHA. Once developed, the tool will be available via NAPWHA .

A pilot roll out with in-person presentations at two healthcare learning institutions per State and Territory nationally is planned for late 2026/early 2027. PWV is seeking women living with HIV interested in presenting the tool to students in their region. Training will be provided if needed.

If you’d like to present the tool or help PWV connect with healthcare learning institutions in your region, please contact:  Heather Ellis at comms@positivewomen.org.au or phone: 0431 781 121
