PWV’s new address is Level 4/ 25 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne

All the PWV team are very excited to move to new premises at Level 4, 25 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne from 16 October. Just like at Coventry House, we will share the premises with our partner organisation Living Positive Victoria.

The move comes due to the end of Living Positive Victoria’s lease agreement for the Coventry House premises. Along with LPV, Coventry House at King’s Business Park in Southbank has been our home for the past 13 years. The move has also come about as post-COVID many staff have continued to work some days at home in a hybrid arrangement so it was also time to downsize as a large office space was no longer needed.

PWV Executive Officer Dr Kirsty Machon says the new premises are bright, fresh, welcoming and close to public transport. “Our small part time staff team works in a flexible way with home and office-based work as well as travelling to meet clients where they need, so it made sense to move to a comfortable space with a less corporate feel,” she said. “There are meeting spaces for one-to-one client contact, PWV activities, or collaboration with staff of Living Positive Victoria. Being close to the centre of the city also provides other options for small or large meetings with our clients.”

Living Positive Victoria CEO Richard Keane also welcomes the move by saying that: “From the strong foundations built from Coventry House, we now have an opportunity to look towards meeting the current and future needs of our community in the heart of the city. This has been a huge undertaking across every level of our organisation and we’re super excited with the result.”

The new home for PWV and LPV covers two floors, Level 3 and 4, at 25 Elizabeth Street Melbourne. This secure, discreet, central location provides easy access from Flinders Street Station and the Elizabeth Street tram interchange, as well as access to a wide range of community spaces located within the CBD, to utilise for workshops and meeting opportunities for both staff and clients alike.

During the move there will be no disruption to our services and programs. However, visiting the new office for a meeting or for peer support is by appointment only. All one-on-one peer support and any other meetings will continue by arrangement with PWVs peer support staff. Some or our meetings, peer-support events and workshops will also be held at the new offices once we have moved in.

Our old office at Coventry Street has been vacated and during the transition to 25 Elizabeth Street, we will be working from home until 16 October. Our phone numbers have not changed and please contact us in the usual way.
