Held on Wednesday, 22 March 2023, Positive Women Victoria was honoured to host the Women and HIV Cure Research webinar (via Zoom) with special guest Dr Jillian Lau who explains the science behind the latest in HIV cure research happening in Australia, which is one of the world’s leading HIV cure research hubs.

During the webinar Dr Jillian Lau also announced the launch of the VICTORIAN HIV CURE DATABASE, where people living with HIV who are interested in HIV cure research and may be considering enrolling in a HIV cure trail can register. For all the latest science on HIV cure updated in plain language by Australian researchers, visit HIV CURE

Dr Jillian Lau is a clinical researcher at The Alfred Hospital and The Doherty Institute and her research focuses on studying strategies to cure HIV, and improving meaningful engagement of people with HIV in cure-focussed clinical trials.
