PWVs Annual Retreat 2024 – Expressions of Interest open

REGISTER TO ATTEND the PWV Annual Retreat 2024 held from Friday, 4pm, 1 March to Sunday, 2pm, 3 March 

For PWV Annual Retreat 2024 we are heading to the beach at Queenscliff (Friday, 1 March to Sunday, 3 March)  where we have booked a private guesthouse.

The Retreat Committee is now planning a weekend of exciting and relaxing activities and outings in and around historic Queenscliff. And there will be plenty of free time to enjoy Queenscliff and the nearby beach.

The PWV Annual Retreat will be run from Friday afternoon, 1 March to Sunday afternoon, 3 March 2024 and PWV members are invited to register their expression of interest to attend.

How to register your interest to attend the PWV Annual Retreat 2024
Our goal is always offer places to all women who wish to attend the Retreat, but if demand exceeds capacity, then priority is given to women who have never attended a Retreat before or who have not attended recently. But we encourage everyone to apply, as we keep a waiting list if needed and there are often cancellations.

Transport via the PWV bus is provided and will leave from a central location in Melbourne. But you are also welcome to drive yourself and to car pool if you are happy to do so.

What is the PWV Annual Retreat?
The PWV Annual Retreat is run by and for women living with HIV. Our first Retreat was held in 1994. It is an opportunity to PWV members to spend a relaxing and social weekend together as well as make new friends or re-connect with old friends.

You will have the opportunity to participate in peer-led discussions; activities; and spend free time. If you attend, it is expected that you will contribute to the discussions and activities and being part of the community of women living with HIV.
