Peer Navigator training opportunity – Online Modules

13/10/2022

Call for Expression of Interest – closes on Friday, 28 October

Are you working for an HIV community organisation as a peer support worker or HIV Peer Navigator? Or would you like to be?

NAPWHA are looking for motivated individuals to take part in the first cohort of their brand new online training program for HIV Peer Navigators. The application process is easy to complete and the training will commence in November. There are reimbursements available. Participants will be 8 or 10 PLHIV who are working in HIV peer support/navigation roles, with some additional places reserved for people who are not currently employed in these roles.

HIV Peer Navigation is an exciting new form of HIV peer support. HIV Peer Navigators use their lived experience, interpersonal skills and workplace training to support other people living with HIV to make the most of the clinical and community care and support services available to them.

You can express your interest for the program by completing a short (1-2 page) application. Applications close Friday, 28 Oct 22 at 5pm.
