The Introduction to HIV provides attendees with an overview of the history, epidemiology, transmission, prevention, testing and management of HIV. Suitable for people requiring introductory level information about HIV or those who may have recently commenced work in the blood borne virus and STI sector.
The session will be presented by nurses with many years’ experience working in the field of HIV.
A speaker from the Positive Speakers Bureau will share information from the perspective of a person living with HIV.
