HIV has changed, stigma hasn’t

HIV Still Matters 2025 is the latest anti-stigma campaign by Thorne Harbour Health. Rolled out nationally on World AIDS Day, 1 December, this powerful campaign features six HIV advocates including PWVs Deborah Akumu and Heather Ellis.

The aim is to remind the general public that HIV is still an important health and to educate about testing, prevention, reduce stigma and most importantly ensure every person living with HIV feels seen, respected, and empowered.
