Positive Steps Support Group 2010
In 2009 Positive Women Victoria ran Positive Steps, our first ever therapeutic support group. The group of women, facilitated by our Support Coordinator and a counselor from the Victorian AIDS Council, met Thursday evenings  for 10 weeks. Positive Steps provides opportunity to discuss the issues that affect HIV-positive women in a safe environment and with other women in similar situations that can provide emotional and peer support. Due to the success and positive feedback from the first group, Positive Women Victoria is holding Positive Steps again, initially as a weekend group over two Saturdays, but also as a Thursday evening group again. Interested women should contact our Support Coordinator on 03 9076 6918 or email.
